Commercial bank :- A Commercial bank is a type of financial institution that provides services such as accepting deposit, withdrawal of money, provide loans, etc. for the general public. These banks do business only for profit purpose. Functions of Commercial Bank :- The functions of commercial bank are classified into two types 1- Primary Function :- The Primary functions are - • Accept Deposit • Provides Loan and Advance • Credit Cash 2- Secondary Function :- The Secondary functions are - • Discounting bill of exchange • Purchasing and Selling of Securities • Overdraft facility • Locker facilities • Paying and Gather the Credit.
